Certificate Program

Initially a certificate program for Coptic Studies will be offered.  This program will require the successful completion of not less than 10 courses plus a research paper.  These courses will include a core group of 5 courses: CL101A&B or CL102A&B; CH101A, B, C, D, E, or F; CLT101, and CLG101.  Then a minimum of five other courses can be selected from among the remaining courses, assuming course prerequisites have been satisfied.  The research paper will be submitted as part of an independent quarter-long course under the supervision of an instructor in any of the technical departments listed above.
